This tool is an image generation utility built upon Google's Imagen 3.0, offering services via the MCP (Model Control Protocol).

📦 Installation

Requirements

• A valid Google Gemini API key

Installation Steps - Cherry Studio

1. Download the latest executable file from the GitHub release page.
2. Place the downloaded executable file anywhere in your system, for example, C:\bin\imagen3-mcp.exe.
3. Configure the following settings in Cherry Studio:
   • Fill in the path to the executable file in the command field, e.g., C:\bin\imagen3-mcp.exe.
   • Enter your Gemini API key in the environment variable GEMINI_API_KEY.
   • [Optional] Enter the proxy address in the environment variable BASE_URL, e.g., https://lingxi-proxy.hamflx.dev/api/provider/google (This address can be used to bypass GFW issues, but it cannot solve the IP restriction problem of Google, and you still need a proxy).
   • [Optional] Set the IP address that the server listens on in the environment variable SERVER_LISTEN_ADDR (default is 127.0.0.1).
   • [Optional] Set the port that the server listens on and the port used by the image URL in the environment variable SERVER_PORT (default is 9981).
   • [Optional] Set the server address used in the image URL in the environment variable IMAGE_RESOURCE_SERVER_ADDR (default is 127.0.0.1). This is very useful when the server runs in a container or on a remote machine.
