📦 Installation

Configuration

The server accepts the following optional environment variables:

• GITHUB_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN: GitHub personal access token (optional). If provided, it will be used to authenticate API requests, allowing higher rate limits and access to private repositories.

Client Configuration

The server can be used with various MCP clients. Add the following configurations to the client's configuration file:

Available Tools

1. Get Release Information

Get all release information for a specified repository:

mcp github-releases --owner your-owner --repo your-repo --token your-token

List detailed information for a specific version:

2. Create a Release

Create a new release from a file:

3. Delete a Release

Delete a release of a specified version:

1. Install dependencies:

   pnpm install
   

2. Run the server:
