Project Overview

The Xiangying MCP Server is an unofficial implementation aimed at providing Model Context Protocol (MCP) services for Xiangying (Eagle). This server allows interaction with the Xiangying application over the network and supports the transmission and operation of various file formats.

Dependencies

• Python
• uvicorn: Used to run the server.
• python-multipart: Used to handle file uploads.
• Ensure that the Xiangying application is installed and running on a local or remote host.

Usage Instructions

Run the Server

1. Install dependencies:

pip install uvicorn python-multipart

2. Start the server:

uvicorn main:app --reload

3. Access the documentation page of the Xiangying MCP Server:

Open a browser and visit http://localhost:8000/docs or http://localhost:8000/redoc

Connection Methods

To connect the Xiangying MCP Server to a client, you can use the following configurations:

On the same host (Xiangying application, MCP server, and file system are on the same device)

# Example configuration: Access the Xiangying MCP service from the client
http://localhost:8000

On different hosts within the same network (Xiangying application and MCP server are in the same LAN)

# Example configuration: Access the Xiangying MCP service from the client
http://[MCP Server IP]:8000
