🚀 Serverless MCP Server

A very simple Model Context Protocol (MCP) server deployed on AWS Lambda and exposed via Amazon API Gateway, deployed using the Serverless Application Model (SAM).

This example is based on the outstanding work of Frédéric Barthelet: He developed a middy middleware for integrating a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server in AWS Lambda functions in his Github repository.

🛠 Prerequisites

• Node.js v22+
• Docker
• AWS CLI
• SAM CLI

🚀 Quick Start

1. Install dependencies:

npm install

2. Run the local service:

node server.js

3. Access the console to view logs.

📡 Deployment to AWS

Run the following commands for deployment:

sam build
sam deploy --guided
