A client for interacting with the Groqcloud MCP services, enabling seamless integration with various servers and models.

🚀 Quick Start

This guide will walk you through the installation and usage of the groqcloud-mcp-client.

📦 Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone <repository-url>
   cd groqcloud-mcp-client
   

2. Create and activate a virtual environment:

   uv venv  # Create the .venv directory
   source .venv/bin/activate  # For Linux/Mac systems
   # Or on Windows: .\.venv\Scripts\activate
   

   If you haven't installed uv, you can follow these steps to install it.

3. Install the dependencies (uv will automatically read the dependencies from pyproject.toml and uv.lock):

   uv pip install -e .  # Install in editable mode
   # Or
   uv pip install .     # Install in normal mode
   

4. Create a .env file:

   GROQ_API_KEY='gsk_**'
   CLIENT_MODEL='deepseek-r1-distill-llama-70b'
   

   You can obtain the GROQ_API_KEY from https://console.groq.com/keys. You need to log in to view it.

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

1. Activate the virtual environment:

   source .venv/bin/activate
   

2. Update the required MCP server configuration in the server_config.json file.

Example:

• stdio_servers are locally available servers. You can leave the list empty if you don't have local servers. You can refer to the MCP Server Documentation to create a local MCP server.
• sse_servers are a list of SSE servers for exploring the activity status. You can view the registered active servers at https://ui.nanda-registry.com/explorer.

2. Run the CLI chat tool:
