• monday-create-update: Create a comment or update on a monday.com project.

• monday-list-items-in-groups: List all items in a specified group.
• monday-list-subitems-in-items: List the sub - items of a given monday.com item.
• monday-create-board: Create a new monday.com board.
• monday-create-board-group: Create a new group in a monday.com board.
• monday-move-item-to-group: Move a monday.com item to another group.
• monday-delete-item: Delete a monday.com item.
• monday-archive-item: Archive a monday.com item.
• monday-get-item-updates: Retrieve updates/comments for a specific item.
• monday-get-docs: List documents in monday.com, optionally filtered by folder.
• monday-get-doc-content: Retrieve the content of a specific document.

📦 Installation

1. Create and save a personal API token as described here.
2. Get the workspace name from the URL of your monday.com workspace. For example, if the URL is https://myworkspace.monday.com/, the workspace name is myworkspace.

🔧 Technical Details

Build and Publish

To prepare the distribution package:

1. Synchronize dependencies and update the lock file:

uv sync

2. Build the package distribution:

uv build

This will create source and wheel distributions in the dist/ directory.

3. Publish to PyPI:

uv publish

Note: You need to set PyPI credentials via environment variables or command - line flags:

• Token: --token
• Username: --username

Debugging

Debug using the Inspector:

uv run mcp-server-monday -- inspector

Open the console to view the output. Copy and paste the displayed URL into your browser for debugging.
