Prerequisites

• Python 3.8+
• Basic knowledge of networking (sockets, TCP)
• No external dependencies required

Steps

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/Eltaf-azizi/Custom-MCP-Server-Demo.git
cd custom-mcp-server

2. Run the server:

python server.py

🔧 Technical Details

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a custom - defined protocol where each message consists of:

1. Model: The type of data being sent (e.g., "chat", "move", "status").
2. Context: Additional metadata to help interpret the model.
3. Data: The actual payload/message.

Example message structure (transmitted over TCP as JSON):
