🚀 🍃 Furikake (or furi) (Under Development)

Furikake is an easy-to-use local CLI and API for managing and executing MCP servers.

📦 Installation (macOS/Linux)

First, install Bun if you haven't already:

curl -fsSL https://bun.sh/install | bash

Then, install Furikake:

curl -fsSL https://furikake.github.io/install.sh | bash

After the installation is complete, enter furi --version to check if the installation was successful.

💻 Usage Examples

Installing an MCP Server

To install an MCP server from GitHub, execute the following command:

furi add username/repository

For example, to install example-repo:

furi add username/example-repo

Starting and Stopping an MCP Server

To start an MCP server, run:

furi start mcpName

To stop an MCP server, run:

furi stop mcpName

Checking MCP Status

To view the status of all running MCP servers, run:

furi status

To view the status of a specific MCP server, run:

furi status mcpName

HTTP API Documentation

Basic Usage

Start Furikake's HTTP server:

furi http start

By default, the HTTP service will be available at localhost:9339.

Public Routes

• / - Display all available routes
• /health - Check the service health status
• /metrics - Provide performance metrics (if enabled)

MCP Management Routes

To use sudo routes, add the --sudo flag when starting the HTTP server:

furi http start --sudo

Installing an MCP

Install a new MCP via a POST request:

curl -X POST http://localhost:9339/add/username/repository

Starting an MCP

Start an MCP via a POST request and set environment variables:

curl -X POST http://localhost:9339/mcpName/start -d '{"API_KEY":"your-api-key"}'

Stopping an MCP

Stop an MCP via a POST request:

curl -X POST http://localhost:9339/mcpName/stop

🔧 Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues, check the following:

1. Ensure that Furikake is installed correctly.
2. Ensure that the HTTP server has started successfully and there are no error logs.
3. Use furi http status to check the status of the HTTP service.

• Support different Node.js versions, passing through nvm according to the package.json configuration
• Add Python MCP support
