• List Collections: Enumerate all MongoDB collections as MCP resources.
  • Each collection is represented in the mongodb:// URI format.

Document Operations

• Read Documents: Retrieve documents from MongoDB collections.
  • Use URIs in the format mongodb://collection-name to access collections.
  • Support document filtering and projection.
  • By default, return a maximum of 100 documents per request.

• Query Builder: Structurally query MongoDB collections.
  • Specify the name of the collection to be queried.

  • Configure result limits.

Tools

• query: Execute MongoDB queries with filtering, projection, and limits.
  • Input parameters:
    • collection: Name of the collection to be queried.
    • filter: MongoDB query filter (optional).
    • projection: Fields to include or exclude (optional).
    • limit: Maximum number of documents to return, default is 100.

Resources

The server provides MongoDB collections as resources:
