A wrapper for MCP servers that allows you to utilize the entire Model Context Protocol without being restricted by tools or lacking concepts.

This tool is under active development and currently only supports static tools.

🚀 Quick Start

📦 Installation

The following installation example assumes you are using Cursor.

1. First, back up your current mcp.json file.

💡 Usage Tip

The default location is ~/.cursor/jailbreak.mcp.json. To rename your existing Cursor configuration file: mv ~/.cursor/mcp.json ~/.cursor/jailbreak.mcp.json

2. Create a new mcp.json file to replace the old one with the following content:

The server will prioritize command - line arguments, then environment variables, and finally ~/.cursor/jailbreak.mcp.json.

• [x] Read the configuration file (mcp.json), accepting command - line arguments or environment variables.
• [x] Validate its format using the Zod schema.

At startup

• [x] Load each MCP entry into a new corresponding client.
• [x] List all tools.
• [x] Add them all to the registry.

At runtime

• [x] Expose the list via the tool endpoint.
• [x] Receive commands.
• [x] Forward them to the corresponding MCP server.
• [x] Forward the results back.

Support

• [ ] Update the transfer command to support Nix, fnm, etc.
• [ ] Update the connection to pass the MCP host environment (Is it necessary?).
• [ ] Update the tools to support dynamic tools, such as changes.

Additional features
