This is a proxy server that integrates TESS (Text Evaluation and Semantic Service) with MCP (Multi-Channel Platform).

📦 Installation

• Requirements:
  • Node.js version 18 or higher.
  • Rust and Cargo toolchain.
  • wasm32-wasi target (rustup target add wasm32-wasi).
• Steps:
  1. Clone the repository.
  2. Install dependencies:

     npm install
     

  3. Configure environment variables in the .env file:

     PORT=3000
     MCP_API_KEY=your_mcp_api_key
     MCP_API_URL=https://www.mcp.run/api
     MCP_SSE_URL=https://www.mcp.run/api/sse
     

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

To build the WebAssembly plugin:

npm run build

To start the server:

npm start

Advanced Usage

For development with hot reloading:

npm run dev

• Health Check:
  • GET /health
  • Checks if the server is running properly.
• List MCP Tools:
  • GET /api/mcp/tools
  • Query parameters:
    • session_id: MCP session ID.
    • mcp_sse_url: MCP's SSE URL.

  • POST /api/mcp/execute
  • Query parameters:
    • session_id: MCP session ID.
    • mcp_sse_url: MCP's SSE URL.

🔧 Technical Details

Architecture

The server consists of the following components:

• Node.js + Express: A web server that handles HTTP requests.
• Rust/WebAssembly Plugin: The main logic and the core component for processing requests.
• MCP Proxy: Forwards requests to mcp.run.

Development

To modify the server behavior:

1. Edit the Rust code in src/lib.rs.
2. Recompile the plugin using npm run build.
3. Restart the server.

Logging and Monitoring

The server logs information for:

• Server startup.
• Errors during processing.
• API call status.

Security

• All requests must include a valid session_id.
• MCP credentials are configured through environment variables.
• CORS is enabled during development.
