📦 Installation

Requirements

You need UV, a fast Python package and project manager.

If UV is not installed:

# Using Homebrew on macOS
brew install uv

Or

# On macOS and Linux.
curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh

# On Windows.
powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://astral.sh/uv/install.ps1 | iex"

Next, install the MCP server:

# Install from source code
uv pip install git+https://github.com/CooKey-Monster/EbayMcpServer.git

Environment Variables

The following environment variables are required; you can find them on the Ebay Developer Portal.

Basic Usage

You can use prompts like: "Find auctions for 10 Batman comics".

Advanced Usage

The server provides a tool:

• list_auction: Search for auctions on Ebay. This tool is useful for finding auctions on Ebay.
  • The required "query" parameter is used for the search query.
  • The optional "ammount" parameter is used for the number of results.
    • The default value is 0.
  • It returns the results of the Ebay REST API.
