🔧 Security Measures

The server implements multi - layer security protection:

1. Dangerous Command Blocking

   • Prevent the execution of potentially harmful commands such as rm -rf, sudo, etc.
   • Block commands that may endanger system integrity.

2. Execution Limits

   • Maximum execution time: 30 seconds.
   • Maximum output buffer size: 1MB.
   • Verify the existence of the working directory.

🛠️ Supported Tools

1. execute-command

Execute a shell command in an optional working directory.

Parameters:

• command (required): The shell command to execute.
• workingDirectory (optional): The directory where the command will be executed.

Example usage in Claude:

execute-command with command="ls -la" and workingDirectory="/Users/yourusername/Documents"

2. simple-hello

A basic demonstration tool that returns a greeting.

Parameters:

📦 Installation

1. Prerequisites

• Node.js (v16 or higher)
• Claude Desktop
• npm (Node Package Manager)

2. Install Dependencies

cd /path/to/command-execution-tool
npm install @modelcontextprotocol/sdk

3. Configure Claude Desktop

Add the following content to your Claude Desktop configuration file:

• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
• Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json
