1. notion_append_block_children

   • Function: Append child blocks to a parent block.
   • Required Inputs:
     • block_id (string): The ID of the parent block.
     • children (array): An array of block objects to append.
   • Return: Information about the added blocks.

2. notion_retrieve_block

   • Function: Retrieve detailed information about a specific block.
   • Required Inputs:
     • block_id (string): The ID of the block to retrieve.
   • Return: Detailed information about the block.

3. notion_retrieve_block_children

   • Function: Retrieve the child blocks of a specific block.
   • Required Inputs:
     • block_id (string): The ID of the parent block.
   • Optional Inputs:
     • start_cursor (string): The cursor for the next page of results.
     • page_size (number, default: 100, maximum: 100): The number of blocks to retrieve.
   • Return: A list of child blocks.

4. notion_delete_block

   • Function: Delete a specific block.
   • Required Inputs:
     • block_id (string): The ID of the block to delete.
   • Return: Confirmation of the deletion.

📦 Installation

Setup Guide

To configure the MCP server in Notion, follow these steps:

1. Create a Notion Integration

   • Create a new integration in Notion and ensure that the required permissions (e.g., "Read and Write") are enabled.

2. Get the Integration Token

   • After creating the integration, copy the integration's token (also known as the API token). This will be crucial for subsequent configuration.

3. Connect the Integration to the Workspace

   • Open the relevant page or database in Notion.
   • Click the button in the top - right navigation bar.
   • Click the "Connect to" button and select your integration.

4. Configure Claude Desktop

   • Add the following content to the claude_desktop_config.json file:

💡 Troubleshooting
