This is a Model Context Protocol server that provides build functionality. It allows LLMs to execute make targets according to a Makefile in a secure and controlled manner.

Available Tools

The server provides one tool:

• make - Execute make targets from a Makefile
  • Parameters:
    • --make-path <path>: Specify the path of the Makefile to execute. The default is the Makefile in the current directory.
    • --working-dir <path>: Set the working directory, which affects the execution environment of commands.

Error Handling

• If the specified Makefile is not found, an exception will be thrown: FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'Makefile'
• If an error occurs while executing the make command, check the console output for detailed information.

Working Directory Behavior

• When the server starts, the working directory defaults to the current directory.
• You can change the working directory using the --working-dir parameter.
