🚀 Notes MCP Server

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables interaction between an AI assistant and a database. This server performs CRUD operations on notes in a secure and structured manner, using Apache Ignite for data persistence.

• list_resources: List all notes in the database.
• read_resource: Read a single note from the database.
• list_tools: List the tools accessible to the AI assistant.
• call_tool: Execute a tool (create or delete a note).
• list_prompts: Provide a list of suggested prompts.
• get_prompt: View the specific content of a prompt.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Python with the uv package manager installed.
• Dependencies for the MCP server.
• Apache Ignite.

Steps

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/coilybits/notes-mcp-server.git
cd notes-mcp-server

# Create a virtual environment
uv venv
source venv/bin/activate 

# Install development dependencies
uv sync
