This server leverages various GIS libraries to enable conversions between different geospatial data formats, coordinate systems, and spatial references.

📦 Installation

To use this server with Claude Desktop, you need to configure it in the MCP settings:

For macOS: Edit the file '~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json'

wkt_to_geojson

Convert Well-Known Text (WKT) to GeoJSON format.

geojson_to_wkt

Convert GeoJSON to Well-Known Text (WKT) format.

csv_to_geojson

Convert a CSV with geospatial data to GeoJSON.

Parameters:

• csv (required): The CSV string to convert.
• latfield (required): The name of the latitude field.
• lonfield (required): The name of the longitude field.
• delimiter (optional): The CSV delimiter (default: comma).

geojson_to_csv

Convert GeoJSON to CSV format.

geojson_to_topojson

Convert GeoJSON to TopoJSON format (more compact, preserves boundaries).

Parameters:

• geojson (required): The GeoJSON object to convert.
• objectName (optional): The name of the created TopoJSON object (default: "data").
• quantization (optional): The quantization parameter for simplification (default: 1e4, 0 to disable).

topojson_to_geojson

Convert TopoJSON to GeoJSON format.

Parameters:

• geojson (required): The GeoJSON object to convert.
• objectName (optional): The name of the created TopoJSON object (default: "data").

kml_to_geojson

Convert KML to GeoJSON format.

geojson_to_kml

Convert GeoJSON to KML format.

coordinates_to_location

Convert latitude/longitude coordinates to location information using reverse geocoding.
