Installation

Deployment

docker compose up --build

Protocol Implementation

The MCP server processes calculation tasks through a custom protocol. The operation process is as follows:

1. Connection: The client establishes a connection with the MCP server.
2. Request Format:

Available tools:
  - add: Add two numbers
  - sub: Subtract two numbers
  - mul: Multiply two numbers
  - div: Divide one number by another

Please enter the tool you want to use: add

Please enter the first number: 3
Please enter the second number: 4

3. Response Format:

Result:: 3 + 4 = 7

Configuration

Adjust the following settings by modifying the environment variables in compose.yaml:

• Server port binding
• Logging verbosity
• Protocol timeout

Development

1. Local Setup:

pip install uv # Recommended installation

uv venv

uv add -r requirements.txt

uv run ./src/server.py

2. Testing:

uv run .\src\client.py
