💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

Here are some example prompts:

• generate an image of a red apple
• generate an image of a red apple using model fal-ai/kolors
• generate 3 images of a glowing red apple in a futuristic city using model fal-ai/recraft-v3, square_hd, 40 inference steps, guidance scale 4.0, safety checker on

Supported Parameters: Prompt, Model ID (any fal.ai model), Number of images to generate, Image size, Inference steps, Guidance scale, Safety checker.

Images are saved locally, and the file path is displayed in the response. For model IDs, visit fal.ai/models.

Output Directory

• Default Output Location: ./generated-images/
  • Images are stored in subfolders by date and time.
  • Each image is saved in PNG format, named image_<timestamp>.png.

Error Handling

Common Errors

1. API Key Authentication Failed

Error: Authentication failed with fal.ai API

Solution:

• Check if FAL_KEY is set correctly.
• Ensure that the API Key has not expired.

2. Network Connection Issues

Error: Failed to connect to fal.ai server

Solution:

• Check your internet connection.
• Ensure that https://api.fal.ai is accessible.

3. Invalid Input Parameters

Error: Invalid input parameters

Solution:

• Check if the prompt or model ID is formatted correctly.
