This is the official Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for SurveyMars, which enables you to interact with the SurveyMars API. This server allows MCP clients (such as Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, OpenAI Agents, etc.) to create, distribute, and analyze surveys.

🚀 Quick Start

Quick Start Guide (for Claude Desktop)

1. Log in to your SurveyMars account from the SurveyMars login page.
2. Obtain your Account ID and Secret Key in the SurveyMars Account Overview.
3. Install uv (Python package manager) using the command curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh or refer to the uv repository for other installation methods.
4. Navigate to Claude > Settings > Developer > Edit Configuration > claude_desktop_config.json and add the following content:

If you are using Windows, you need to enable "Developer Mode" in Claude Desktop to use the MCP server. Click the hamburger icon in the top-left corner of the menu bar and select "Enable Developer Mode".

Development

Build and Release

To prepare the distribution package:

1. Synchronize dependencies and update the lock file:

uv sync

2. Build the release version:

uv build

This will create source code and wheel format releases in the dist/ directory. 3. Publish to PyPI:

uv publish

During the publishing process, you need to keep the placeholder {GITHUB_TOKEN} in the command or set your GitHub token through an environment variable.
