🚀 Fal AI MCP Server

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that uses the fal.ai API to generate images and videos. This is a basic version of the server, and anyone can extend it to use different fal.ai models and API endpoints.

📦 Installation

Install uv and add the server to the MCP configuration using uvx:

Testing

Clone the repository and use the mcp-client-for-testing tool to test the server:

Formatting and Fixing

The code is formatted and fixed using ruff:

uv run ruff format
uv run ruff check --fix

Building with uv

Build the package using uv:

uv build

Releasing a New Version

To release a new version to PyPI, create and push a new Git tag:

1. Switch to the main branch and get the current version:

   git checkout main
   git pull origin main
   git describe --tags
   

2. Create and push a new Git tag:

   git tag v0.2.0
   git push origin v0.2.0
   

The GitHub Actions workflow will automatically build and publish the package to PyPI when pushing to a new tag. The version number of the Python package will be directly exported from the Git tag.
