This Weather MCP Server connects to the National Weather Service API to offer weather - related data. It has features to get weather alerts and detailed forecasts.

📦 Installation

1. Clone this repository.
2. Install the dependencies:

   pip install mcp httpx
   

   Or use uv:

   uv pip install mcp httpx
   

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

To directly run the server, use the following command:

python weather_server.py

Advanced Usage

To use it with Claude for Desktop, add the following content to your Claude for Desktop configuration file ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json:

Replace /实际路径/to/uv with the actual path of your uv executable file (find it using which uv). Replace /绝对路径/to/weather_mcp_server with the actual absolute path of this directory.
