This is an example project demonstrating how to integrate a custom MCP server with Copilot Studio. The server is deployed on Microsoft Azure and is designed specifically for demonstration purposes. This component is not part of any official Microsoft product and is not suitable for production environments.

✅ Create an Azure App Service (Node.js 18+)

Set the startup command (if necessary):

npm run build && npm run start

🔍 How to Verify the SSE Server is Running Correctly

Step 1: Access the SSE Endpoint

• Open in your browser: http://localhost:3000/sse (locally) or the Azure deployed URL.
• Open the developer tools → Network tab.
• Check if there is an EventStream connection.
• Under the Event tab, you should see:
  • Endpoint: SSE endpoint
  • Data: Complete URI endpoint

Step 2: Test the SSE Endpoint with Postman

1. Copy the complete URI (from the EventStream data).
2. Send a POST request to that URI in Postman.

If successful, you will receive a response with "message" confirming that the server is running correctly.
