🚀 Minecraft Wiki MCP Server

A MCP server for browsing the official Minecraft Wiki!

⚠️ Important Note

This MCP is currently under development. Although most features are functioning properly, there may still be some minor issues and bugs.

• Multilingual Support: Connect to different language versions of the Minecraft Wiki.

📦 Installation

Currently, only local installation is supported. Other installation methods may be introduced in the future!

Manual Installation

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/L3-N0X/Minecraft-Wiki-MCP.git
cd Minecraft-Wiki-MCP

# Install dependencies
npm install

# Build the project
npm run build

Then, you can use the following configuration in claude_desktop_config.json to run the server:

📚 Documentation

Please ensure that you update the path to the server.js file! By default, this server connects to https://minecraft.wiki/api.php (English version). You can access different language versions of the Wikipedia by using the --api-url option:

This server provides the following tools for interacting with the Minecraft Wiki:

Search and Navigation

• MinecraftWiki_searchWiki: Search for information on structures, entities, items, or blocks.
• MinecraftWiki_getPageSummary: Get the page summary and a list of available sections.
• MinecraftWiki_resolveRedirect: Resolve a redirect page to its target page.

Page Content

• MinecraftWiki_getPageContent: Get the full page content.
• MinecraftWiki_getPageSection: Get the content of a specific section.
• MinecraftWiki_getSectionsInPage: Get an overview of all sections in a page.

Categories

• MinecraftWiki_listAllCategories: List all available categories.
• MinecraftWiki_listCategoryMembers: List the pages in a category.
• MinecraftWiki_getCategoriesForPage: Get all categories for a specific page.
