🚀 Mureka Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server Official Documentation

The official Mureka Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for interacting with powerful APIs for lyrics, song, and background music generation. This server enables MCP clients such as Claude Desktop and OpenAI Agents to generate lyrics, songs, and background music (instrumental performances).

🚀 Quick Start with Claude Desktop

1. Obtain your API key from Mureka.
2. Install uv (Python package manager) using curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh or visit the uv repository for other installation methods.
3. Open Claude > Settings > Developer > Edit Configuration > claude_desktop_config.json and add the following content:

Then restart the Claude application. Four MCP tools will be displayed in the window, indicating successful loading.

✨ Optional Features

You can add the TIME_OUT_SECONDS environment variable to claude_desktop_config.json to set the timeout for waiting for song or background music generation (default is 60 seconds).

💻 Usage Examples

⚠️ Important Note

Using these tools requires Mureka credits.

Try asking Claude to do the following:

• "Please create a happy birthday song for my daughter Jessica and play it."
• "Please generate a song based on the lyrics just generated."
• "Please generate background music suitable for playing in a coffee shop."

🔧 Troubleshooting

Runtime logs (when used with Claude Desktop) can be found in the following locations:

• Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\logs\mcp-server-Mureka.log
• macOS: ~/Library/Logs/Claude/mcp-server-Mureka.log

The key that needs to be filled in:

After running, you can see the composition process in the console.
