An MCP server that provides access to Berlin's public transport data, encapsulating the v6.vbb.transport.rest API. This server wraps the VBB (Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg) API.

1. Search Stations

Search for public transport stations in Berlin-Brandenburg.

Parameters:

• query (string): Search query

2. Get Departure Schedules

Get information about upcoming trains or buses for a specific station.

Parameters:

• stop_id (string): ID of the station to get departure information for
• results (number, optional): Number of results to return

3. Query Travel Routes

Query travel options from one station to another.

Parameters:

• from (string): ID of the departure station
• to (string): ID of the destination station
• departure (string, optional): Departure time (e.g., "2 PM tomorrow")
• results (number, optional): Number of results to return

🔗 Connect Claude Desktop to Your MCP Server

You can also connect a local MCP client to a remote MCP server via the mcp-remote proxy.

To connect to your MCP server in Claude Desktop, follow the Anthropic's Quick Start Guide and go to Settings > Developer > Edit Configuration in Claude Desktop.

Update the configuration as follows:

After restarting Claude, you should see these tools become available.

You can deploy your MCP server to a URL like remote-mcp-server-authless.<your-account>.workers.dev/sse by clicking the button below:

Alternatively, you can create a remote MCP server on your local computer using the following command:

npm create cloudflare@latest -- my-mcp-server --template=cloudflare/ai/demos/remote-mcp-authless

💻 Usage Examples

To add your own tools to the MCP server, define them using this.server.tool(...) in the init() method of src/index.ts.

To connect your MCP server to the Cloudflare AI Playground, follow these steps:

1. Visit https://playground.ai.cloudflare.com/.
2. Enter your MCP server URL (e.g., remote-mcp-server-authless.<your-account>.workers.dev/sse).
3. Now, you can use your MCP tools directly from the Playground!
