What is tuyactl?

Getting Started

Install uv package manager

This is required to run the tuyactl tool. It's a fast Python package installer.

Get your device keys

Use the tinytuya setup wizard to get local keys for your devices. This creates a snapshot.json file.

Start the server

Run the background server that tuyactl communicates with.

Start using tuyactl

You can now control your devices. Try listing them first to see what's available.
