📦 Installation

Install the mcp-pyodbc-server with the following steps:

pip install mcp-pyodbc-server

Then run the ODBC server:

python -m mcp_pyodbc_server.run serve --dsn "YourDSNName" --user "username" --password "password"

⚙️ Configuration

You can get the full configuration options with the following command:

python -m mcp_pyodbc_server.run serve --help

Example

Here is an example of running the ODBC server:

python -m mcp_pyodbc_server.run serve --dsn "MyODBCConnection" --user "admin" --password "secret"

🔍 Error Troubleshooting

To troubleshoot issues easily:

1. Install the MCP Monitor:

   npm install -g @modelcontextprotocol/inspector
   

2. Start the monitor:

   npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector uv --directory /path/to/mcp-pyodbc-server run mcp-pyodbc-server
