This project offers an implementation of an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. It relies on the official MCP rust - sdk and is greatly inspired by the examples provided in that project. Both Stdio and SSE transports are supported.

📦 Installation

Env variables

To run the MCP server (both stdio and SSE), you must provide some environment variables to interact with a Trustify instance:

Stdio

MCP Clients, such as MCP Inspector and Claude Desktop, usually require the path to the binary of the MCP Server. To build the Trustify MCP Server with stdio transportation for consumption by MCP Clients, run the following command:

cargo build --release --bin stdio

The built binary for the Trustify MCP Server will be available at the path target/release/stdio.

SSE

To run the MCP Server with SSE transportation using cargo run, execute the following command:

API_URL=<API URL> OPENID_ISSUER_URL=<OpenID Issuer URL> OPENID_CLIENT_ID=<OpenID Client ID> OPENID_CLIENT_SECRET=<OpenID Client secret> cargo run --release --bin sse

The server will be available at the URL http://localhost:8081/sse.
