🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites 🔧

Before using Voyp, you need:

• Voyp API Key
  • You also need to purchase credits to use during calls. You can purchase credits here.
• Claude Desktop, Goose, or other compatible clients
• Node.js (v20 or higher)
  • You can verify the installation of Node.js by running the following command:

    node --version
    

• npm (Node Package Manager)

📦 Installation

Install using npm:

1. Open your terminal and navigate to the directory where you want to install the Voyp MCP Server.
2. Run the following command:

   npm install -g voyp-mcp
   

3. After the installation is complete, you can run:

   voyp-mcp start
   

   to start the server.

Manual installation:

1. Download the source code of the Voyp MCP Server.
2. Extract the files and enter the directory:

   cd voyp-mcp
   

3. Install the dependencies:

   npm install
   

4. Build the project:

   npm run build
   

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

After installation, follow these steps to configure the Voyp MCP Server in the Claude Desktop application:

1. Open the Claude Desktop application.
2. Click the hammer icon (.hammer) at the bottom left to view the available MCP tools.
3. You should see the start_call and hangup_call tools.

Now, Claude will have full access to the Voyp MCP Server, including the start_call and hangup_call tools.

   • Verify that the npm installation is correct: Run npm --version

   • If you encounter errors related to npx, you may need to use the full path of npx.
