The Grok MCP Plugin allows seamless integration with Grok AI through the Cline environment. Follow the steps below to get started.

This plugin offers three powerful tools via the MCP interface:

1. Chat Completion - Generate text responses using Grok's language model.
2. Image Understanding - Analyze images with Grok's visual capabilities.
3. Function Calling - Invoke functions using Grok based on user input.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v16 or higher)
• Grok AI API key (obtained from console.x.ai)
• Cline with MCP support

Steps

1. Clone this repository:

git clone https://github.com/Bob-lance/grok-mcp.git
cd grok-mcp

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Build the project:

npm run build

4. Add the MCP server to your Cline MCP settings: For the VSCode Cline extension, edit the file:

~/Library/Application Support/Code/User/globalStorage/saoudrizwan.claude-dev/settings/cline_mcp_settings.json

Add the following configuration:
