This project is based on RepoToTextForLLMs, which provides the core functionality for converting repositories into a format readable by LLMs.

Motivation

As artificial intelligence and large language models become increasingly important in software development, it is becoming more and more crucial to effectively communicate our code libraries with these AI models. Traditional code repositories are not optimized for LLM processing, which may lead to poor results when using AI tools for code analysis and generation.

Toolset

get_gitlab_repo

• Processes and returns the code content (in text format) of a specified branch in a GitLab repository.
• Input:
  • repo_url (string): The URL of the GitLab repository.
  • branch (string): The branch name, default is master.
• Output: Returns all information and structure of the repository in text format.

get_github_repo

• Processes and returns the code content (in text format) of a specified branch in a GitHub repository.
• Input:
  • repo_url (string): The URL of the GitHub repository.
  • branch (string): The branch name, default is master.
• Output: Returns all information and structure of the repository in text format.

get_local_repo

• Processes and returns the code content (in text format) of a specified branch in a local GitLab repository.
• Input:
  • repo_url (string): The path of the repository.
