How to use the MCP CLI server in Claude Desktop?

1. Edit claude_desktop_config.json: Go to Claude Desktop -> Settings -> Developer -> Edit Configuration.
2. Add the following configuration to the servers section:

⚠️ Important Note

• Make sure to use the actual path to the rs_filesystem executable.
• Ensure that the MCP_RS_FILESYSTEM_ALLOWED_DIRECTORIES environment variable is set to a colon-separated list of allowed directories. The tool is only effective within these directories.

If you want to check the MCP logs, use tail -n 20 -f ~/Library/Logs/Claude/rs_filesystem.logs.jsonl.
