🚀 MCP Image Generator

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for image generation models using Together AI. This MCP Image Generator can run locally or via the SSE endpoint. Currently, it only supports "Replicate" and "Together" as providers. You need to set the TOGETHER_API_KEY or REPLICATE_API_TOKEN environment variables and set the PROVIDER environment variable to "replicate" or "together".

🚀 Quick Start

SSE Endpoint (Docker Environment)

Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/gmkr/mcp-imagegen.git
cd mcp-imagegen

Build and Run the Container Using Dockerfile

docker build -f Dockerfile.server -t mcp-imagegen .
docker run -p 3000:3000 mcp-imagegen

Configure the MCP Client

Adjust the url to the MCP server endpoint you are using as needed. The provider can be either "replicate" or "together".

Local Usage with Standard Input/Output

Prerequisites

• Node.js
• Together AI API key or Replicate API token

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/gmkr/mcp-imagegen.git
   cd mcp-imagegen
   

2. Install dependencies:

   pnpm install
   

Configuration

Create a configuration file for your MCP client. Here is an example configuration:

Replace /path/to/mcp-imagegen with the actual path where you cloned the repository, and replace your-replicate-api-token with your actual Replicate API token.

Tool: generate_image

Generate an image based on the provided prompt.

Parameters:

• prompt (string): The text prompt for image generation.
• width (number, optional): The width of the generated image (default: 512).
• height (number, optional): The height of the generated image (default: 512).
• numberOfImages (number, optional): The number of images to generate (default: 1).
