🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Python 3.11+
• Conda (recommended)

Set up the environment using Conda (recommended)

# Create a conda environment with Python 3.11
conda create -n mcp-tools python=3.11

# Activate the environment
conda activate mcp-tools

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/webdevtodayjason/slim-MCP.git
cd slim-MCP

# Install using uv (recommended)
uv pip install -e .

# Or install using standard pip
pip install -e .

💻 Usage Examples

Configure Claude

Add the following to your Claude configuration file:

Start the server

Run the following command to start the MCP server:

python -m slim_mcp.server

Add the following dependencies to your requirements.txt file:

slim-mcp==0.1.0

Development

Install the development environment

Clone the repository and install the dependencies:

git clone https://github.com/webdevtodayjason/slim-MCP.git
cd slim-MCP
pip install -r requirements.txt

Start the development server

Run the following command to start the MCP server:

python -m slim_mcp.server
