🚀 Quick Start

Installation

pip install mcp-server-milvus

Configuration

Common Issues

Connection Issues

If you encounter the error "Unable to connect to the Milvus server", perform the following steps:

1. Confirm that the Milvus instance is running: docker ps (if deployed with Docker).
2. Check if the URI in the configuration is correct.
3. Ensure that no firewall is blocking port access.
4. Use telnet localhost 19530 to test if the Milvus port is reachable.

Authentication Issues

If you encounter an authentication error, check:

1. Whether the environment variable MILVUS_TOKEN is correctly set.
2. Confirm whether the user management configuration of the Milvus instance allows the current user to access.
