• Claude Desktop

Steps

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/RafalWilinski/mcp-apple-notes
cd mcp-apple-notes

2. Install dependencies:

bun install

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

1. Open the Claude desktop application, go to Settings -> Developer -> Edit Configuration.

2. Open claude_desktop_config.json and add the following entry:

⚠️ Important Note

Replace <YOUR_USER_NAME> with your actual username.

3. Restart the Claude desktop application. You should see the following interface:

4. Start indexing your notes. Begin indexing by telling Claude "Index my notes" or "Index my Apple notes".

• [ ] Return Apple Notes in HTML format. We should convert them to Markdown and embed.
• [ ] Use a recursive text splitter or Markdown text splitter to chunk the source content.
• [ ] Add an option to use a custom embedding model.
• [ ] Provide more database controls - purge, custom queries, etc.
