📦 Installation

1. Sign up for a free API key on OpenWeatherMap.
2. Clone this repository:

   git clone https://github.com/yourusername/weather-mcp.git
   cd weather-mcp
   npm install
   npm run build
   

3. Add the MCP server to your Cline settings:

4. Set WEATHER_UNITS to either metric (°C, m/s) or imperial (°F, mph).

💻 Usage Examples

get_current_weather

Retrieve the current weather conditions for a specified location. Parameters:

• location: The name of the city (e.g., 'London'), or the city name with the country code (e.g., 'London,uk').

get_weather_forecast

Get the five - day weather forecast for a specified location. Parameters:

• location: The name of the city (e.g., 'London'), or the city name with the country code (e.g., 'London,uk').
• days: The number of days for the forecast (1 - 5, default: 3).

📚 Documentation

Development

1. Install the dependencies:

   npm install
   

2. Run in development mode:

   npm run dev
   

3. Build the production version:

   npm run build
