📦 Installation

Install using npm

npm install mcp-dg

Install from source code

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/GeLi2001/mcp-dg.git
   cd mcp-dg
   

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install
   

📚 Documentation

Prerequisites

1. Install Node.js (version 14 or higher).
2. Install the npm package manager.
3. Obtain a Datadog account and create the corresponding API Key and Application Key.

Configuration

Environment variable configuration

Set the following environment variables:

• DD_API_KEY: Datadog API Key.
• DD_APP_KEY: Datadog Application Key.
• DD_SITE: Optional, default is datadoghq.com, supports other regions such as us3.datadoghq.com.

Command-line parameter configuration

Pass through commands at runtime:

node index.js --api-key=<your_api_key> --app-key=<your_app_key> [--site=your_site]

Usage

Start the server:

node index.js

Access the console address: http://localhost:3000

Configure MCP in Claude Desktop

Add the following content to the mcp-config.json file:

Troubleshooting

• 403 Forbidden Error: Verify that the API Key and Application Key are correct.
