This server implements a simple note - saving system:

• Access individual notes using the custom note:// URI scheme.
• Each note resource has a name, description, and text/plain MIME type.

💡 Prompt Statements

The server provides a single prompt statement:

• summarize - notes: Generate a summary of all current notes.
  • The optional "style" parameter controls the level of detail (brief/detailed).
  • Combine all current notes and style settings to generate the prompt statement.

🛠️ Tools

The server implements a tool:

• add - note: Add a new note to the server.
  • Receive the required string parameters "name" and "content".
  • Update the server state and notify the client of resource changes.

🏗️ Building and Publishing

To prepare the distribution package:

1. Synchronize dependencies and update the lock file:

uv sync

2. Build the release:

uv build

This will generate source and wheel file releases in the dist/ directory.

3. Publish to PyPI:

uv publish

Note: PyPI authentication information needs to be set via environment variables or command - line parameters:

• Token: --token or UV_PUBLISH_TOKEN
• Or username/password: --username/UV_PUBLISH_USERNAME and --password/UV_PUBLISH_PASSWORD

🔍 Debugging

Since the MCP server executes via standard input and output, debugging can be difficult. For the best debugging experience, it is highly recommended to use the MCP Inspector.

You can use npm to run the following command to start the MCP Inspector:

npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector uv --directory C:\Prj\weather_service run weather-service

When starting, the inspector will display an accessible URL in the browser to start debugging.
