📦 Installation

This project is configured to run in a development container. Simply open the repository in a code editor that supports remote containers (e.g., VS Code Remote - Containers), and all dependencies will be installed automatically. If you prefer to run it locally, clone the repository and execute:

go mod tidy

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

Open the project in a development container. Run the make cluster command, which installs the k3d cluster and sets it up on Argo. You can check if it's working properly by entering kubectl cluster-info. You can run a test workflow by entering argo submit -n argo --watch ./kube/argo-hello-world.yaml. You can access the Argo interface at https://localhost:2746/workflows/argo/. You can check if the application is building and if MCP is working by running make run.

Advanced Usage

The project includes a Python test client that demonstrates how to interact with the MCP Argo Server. The test client is located in python/test_with_autogen.py and showcases the following features:

Submit an Argo workflow
Check the workflow status
Wait for the workflow to complete
Get the workflow results

To run the Python test:

Ensure that the Python dependencies are installed:

cd python
make install

Run the test script:

python test_with_autogen.py

Or you can directly debug and execute step - by - step. The script will:
