🚀 SQLite-Anet-MCP Server

A Rust implementation based on the Model Control Protocol (MCP), providing access to SQLite databases via a standardized protocol. This server allows AI agents to directly create, manage, and query SQLite databases.

This project is based on the reference implementation of Model Context Protocol SQLite Server.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Rust version 1.70 or higher.
• A running NATS server (either locally or accessible via the network).
• SQLite (included as a Rust dependency).

Steps

Clone the repository and build the server:

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/sqlite-anet-mcp.git
cd sqlite-anet-mcp

Configure environment variables by creating a .env file:

NATS_SERVER=nats://localhost:4222
SQLITE_DB=path/to/your/database.db

💻 Usage Examples

Starting the Server

Run the server:

cargo run --release

Access the tool interface at: http://localhost:8080

Testing

1. Start the NATS server.
2. Run the test script:

cargo test

3. Interact using example requests.

📚 Documentation

Adding New Features

To extend the server's functionality:

1. Define the response structure in src/models/sqlite.rs.
2. Implement the tool in the src/tools/ folder, following the Tool trait.
3. Register the new tool in src/main.rs.

Troubleshooting

• Ensure that the NATS server is running and accessible.
• Check that the SQLite database path is correctly set.
• Verify that the request format matches the input pattern of each tool.
