@tailor-platform/tailor-mcp is an npm tool designed to automatically install the tailorctl command-line tool and focuses on the MCP (Model Context Protocol) server functionality.

What is Tailor Platform?

Tailor Platform is a headless ERP platform that supports the construction of composable applications:

Getting Started with Tailor Platform

Using Tailor Platform is straightforward:

1. Create an Account: The only requirement is to register an account at console.tailor.tech.
2. Configure Your Application via MCP: Once you have an account, configure your application through the MCP server.
3. Access via GraphQL: Your application can be accessed via GraphQL:
   • Use the GraphQL Playground to test queries.
   • Build applications using any GraphQL client.
4. Monitor via Console: All configuration and application details can be viewed in the Web UI at console.tailor.tech.

🔐 Authentication Information

To use Tailor Platform, you need to authenticate. Here are two common authentication methods:

1. Using the Command-line Tool

You can log in interactively using the following command:

tailorctl login

2. Using Environment Variables

You can set the TAILOR_API_KEY environment variable in your code, for example:

export TAILOR_API_KEY="your_api_key_here"

Starting the HTTP Transport Server
