🚀 JR East Japan Warning Information MCP Server

This project is an MCP server designed to provide warning information for JR East Japan. It allows users to obtain relevant data through MCP clients.

npm install

npm run build

🧪 Testing

npx vitest run

🚀 Start the Server

node build/index.js

Alternatively, through the bin configuration in package.json, you can use the following command:

npx jr-east-delay

to execute it as a command.

💻 Usage Examples

Use from MCP Client

You can obtain JR East Japan's warning information by calling the getDelays tool through MCP clients such as Claude Desktop or MCP Inspector.

Configuration Example for MCP Client

When using this server in clients like Claude Desktop or MCP Inspector, please add the following content to the settings file (e.g., claude_desktop_config.json):

Example 1: When the node command is available in the path

Example 2: Specify the absolute path of node

• Please adjust the your-username part according to your environment.
• Please adjust the your-path part according to your environment.
• If the node command is not in the path, please specify it using the absolute path.

Development Notes

• The test code is located in the src/index.test.ts file.
• You can use client tools like MCP Inspector to test the communication of the MCP protocol.
