🚀 Quick Start

The Miro MCP Server is an implementation of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrated with the Miro REST API. It allows AI systems to collaborate directly with users on Miro boards by interacting with board widgets. This server provides tools that enable large language models to create visual diagrams and perform real - time collaboration using the MCP protocol.

📦 Installation

You can download the pre - compiled JAR file or build the project from source.

Option 1: Use the Pre - compiled JAR

1. Download the latest version from the Releases page.
2. Place the .jar file in your desired location.

Option 2: Build from Source

git clone https://github.com/MaratMingazov/miro-mcp-server.git
cd miro-mcp-server
./gradlew build

The generated .jar file will be located at build/libs/miro-mcp-server-1.0.jar.

Connecting to the MCP Server

If you are using the Claude Desktop application on MacOS or Linux, the configuration file is located at:

~/Library/Application\ 支持/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

Add the following configuration to the file:

Replace /path/to/miro-mcp-server-1.0.jar with the actual path to your .jar file and miroToken with your Miro personal access token. You can generate a personal access token following this guide.

  • x: The x - coordinate position of the sticky note
  • y: The y - coordinate position of the sticky note
  • width: The width of the sticky note (optional)
  • height: The height of the sticky note (optional)

• createBoard - Create a new Miro board
