This server helps you organize code files into a standardized project structure and provides direct access to AI models such as OpenAI and Google.

🚀 Quick Start

1. Clone this repository to your computer:

   git clone https://github.com/TylerALofall/code-portal-mcp.git
   cd code-portal-mcp
   

2. Double-click the start_server.bat file to start the server.
3. Open in your browser http://localhost:8001/setup, complete the initial setup, and configure the path to your Script_starter.py.

💻 Usage Examples

Using AI Features

1. After starting the server, visit http://localhost:8001/ai/ui.
2. Add your API keys in the "API Keys" tab:
   • OpenAI key (starting with sk-)
   • Google Generative AI key (starting with AIza)
3. Use the "Generate Text" tab:
   • Select the provider (OpenAI or Google)
   • Enter a prompt
   • Get AI responses directly on your computer.

Project Management

The server can create standardized projects in the following way:

🔧 Technical Details

Security

• All API keys are stored locally on your computer.
• The server only runs when you start it.
• It automatically shuts down after running for 15 minutes.
• By default, access is restricted to localhost.

For Advanced Users

To enable external access:

1. Visit http://localhost:8001/setup.
2. Enable "Public API Mode".
3. Set a secure API key. This allows files to be sent from other computers or AI services.

Using Other AI Models
