🚀 Rollbar MCP Server

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server implemented for Rollbar.

This software is in the pre-release stage, with an alpha quality level, and is under active development.

✨ Features

This MCP server implements the stdio server type, which means your AI tools (e.g., Claude) will run it directly; you don't need to start a separate process.

Configuration

• ROLLBAR_ACCESS_TOKEN: An access token with read permissions for the Rollbar project.

Tools

• get-item-details(counter): Given an item number, get the item details and recent occurrences. Example prompt: Diagnose the root cause of Rollbar item #123456.
• get-deployments(limit): List the deployment data for a given project. Example prompts: List the last 5 deployments or Are there any failed deployments?.
• get-version(version, environment): Get the details of the version corresponding to the specified version string, environment name, and configured project.
• get-top-items(environment): Get the top items in the past 24 hours based on the environment name. Example prompt: List the main issues in the production environment in the last 24 hours.

📦 Installation

It has been tested to support node 22 (please run nvm use 22).

Install and build:

npm install
npm run build

🔧 Technical Details

How to Develop

Install and build:

npm install
npm run build

You can use the @modelcontextprotocol/inspector module to test individual tools. For example, to test the get-item-details tool with the parameter counter=2455389:
