📦 Installation

Download the Code Repository

You can clone the code repository from GitHub:

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/lilith-shell.git
cd lilith-shell

Install Dependencies

Ensure you have Python 3.10 or a higher version, as well as pip, installed. Then run the following command to install the required packages:

pip install -r requirements.txt

Windows System Configuration

Create or edit the lilith_shell_config.json file located in the %LOCALAPPDATA%\AnthropicClaude\config directory with the following content:

Create or edit the lilith_shell_config.json file located in the ~/Library/Application Support/Lilith Shell directory with the following content:

⚠️ Important Note

• Isolated Environment: Use only in a virtual machine or a disposable development environment.
• Sensitive Data: Do not use on production systems or devices containing sensitive data.
• Monitor Activities: It is recommended to monitor system access and operation logs.

🔧 Troubleshooting

Check Logs

• Windows: Check the %APPDATA%\Lilith Shell\Logs\mcp*.log or %LOCALAPPDATA%\AnthropicClaude\Logs\mcp*.log files.
• macOS: Check the ~/Library/Logs/Lilith Shell/mcp*.log file.

Verify Installation

1. Ensure that uv is correctly installed and added to the PATH environment variable.
2. Check if the mcp package is installed:

   pip show mcp
   

3. Confirm that the Python version is 3.10 or higher.

Manually Test the Server

Navigate to the Lilith Shell directory and run the following command to start the server:

# On macOS:
./venv/bin/python src/lilith_shell/executor.py

# On Windows:
.\venv\Scripts\python.exe src\lilith_shell\executor.py
