🚀 Quick Start

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a system that allows AI applications (such as Claude Desktop) to connect to external tools and services. It provides a clear and secure way for AI assistants to interact with local services and APIs while keeping users in control.

What is Pica?

Pica is a powerful proxy tool platform that supports connections to over 70 third - party services and applications. Through this MCP server, Claude Desktop and any AI tool using the Model Context Protocol can securely interact with these connections via natural language requests.

With the Pica MCP Server, you can:

• Access multiple data sources: From sending Gmail emails to sending Slack messages and querying Salesforce data.
• Automate workflows: Create calendar events directly in Claude, update Google Sheets, or process Stripe payments.
• Enhance AI capabilities: Generate images by connecting to DALL - E or perform voice transcription by calling ElevenLabs.

📦 Installation

Install using npx

npx pica-mcp-server

Configure environment variables

Add the following content to the .env file:

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

After configuration, connect the required services on the Pica dashboard, and then try the following examples in Claude Desktop:

Communication and Collaboration

• Use Gmail to send an email containing a meeting summary to colleagues.
• Create a meeting reminder for next Tuesday at 2 pm on Google Calendar.
• Send a message to the #marketing channel on Slack, attaching the latest campaign metrics.
• Find Google Drive documents related to the Q3 plan.

Data Access and Analysis

• List the top 10 largest customers in the PostgreSQL database.
• Create a new table containing sales data in Google Sheets.
• Query Salesforce to get a list of business opportunities closing by the end of this month.
• Update project status information in the Notion database.

• Create a support ticket in Zendesk based on customer feedback.
• Process a refund for a customer in Stripe.
