🚀 Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server for GraphQL Policy API

This repository implements a server based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for accessing policies via a GraphQL API.

The server is built using the python SDK for MCP and interacts with the GraphQL API using the GQL library.

🚀 Quick Start

Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/Ad-Veritas/mcp-server-trueRAG.git
cd mcp-server-trueRAG

Ensure uv is Installed

uv --version

If uv is not installed, you can use the following commands to install it:

# For macOS and Linux.
curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh

# For Windows.
powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://astral.sh/uv/install.ps1 | iex"

Define Environment Variables

The server is configured to work with the GraphQL API of one of the TrueRag systems. After creating a TrueRAG environment, copy the API key and endpoint from the environment variables.

Create a .env file in the root directory of the repository and add the following content:

GRAPHQL_API_KEY = "{your_api_key}"
GRAPHQL_ENDPOINT = "{your_graphql_endpoint}"

Add to MCP Client, e.g., for Claude Desktop

Add the following content to the Claude configuration file (~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json):
